  1. Sadly, the world we live in, is in a state of degradation. It is the product of an ill conceived economic philosophy. The world's status will continue to decline so long as there are those who believe they are worth more than the next person. As long as there is someone who struggles to survive, there is no one who deserves more than they need to live comfortably.

  2. Having taken the time to carefully formulate an opinion concerning the State Dinner President Obama held for Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, I came to the conclusion that I needed to ask President Obama; "what the hell were you thinking"? Any saving grace you retained was lost forever at the front door as you entered the "dining tent" to host the event. There is nothing, I repeat, nothing you could say to me that would justify holding such an event. What's that you say...protocol? No, don't go there, it doesn't fit. You are no different than any other self centered, self serving, excuse making politicians that preceded you. Great example you set for the world; you pig out while there are those around the world starving to death. No wonder people from around the world call us hypocrites, our leaders that is.

  3. The so called Health Care Reform package being bantered about in Washington, is in fact, not primarily a health care reform package at all. More than anything else, the package is an "insurance policy" for those investing in the insurance business, as well as other related companies. It is being presented to main stream America as the solution to our health care crisis, when in reality, the changes needed aren't even being addressed. The real problem is the over-charging by the medical professionals throughout the Country, and the insurance industry's inability or unwillingness to set up and maintain strict guidelines in order to keep the costs down. In order to keep making more and more money, the insurance companies keep raising the premiums to maintain the status quo.

Allow me to pass this by you. After trying to remove a tick from ones self, you find that the "head" has stayed behind. You go to your physician and in less than three minutes; your physician removes the "head" of the tick, daubs a little iodine on it, applies a band-aid and sends you on your way. A few weeks later, you receive notification from your insurance company that your physician submitted a vaguely described invoice for the procedure in the amount of $595.00 and that it was approved. You call the insurance company to protest their paying of the invoice, and they politely blow you off.

Washington, mandatory health insurance is not the answer. It will only lead to more complication and deeper corruption. Reign in the abuse and the costs will be dramatically reduced, allowing a majority of those in this Country to provide themselves with health insurance.
